Working alongside our in-house production team, you'll help create a wide range of content, including author interviews, social-first video, event coverage, book trailers, and branded marketing campaigns. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about visual storytelling, eager to develop their production skills, and excited to help create content that inspires readers to discover their next great book.

  • Ensure equipment is production-ready for upcoming shoots.
  • Support the production team during author interviews, marketing shoots, live events, and other productions.
  • Assist talent, crew, and internal partners throughout production days.

Content Creation & Production

  • Assist with the production of short-form and long-form video content.
  • Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment under the guidance of the production team.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content and additional footage as needed.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Marketing teams to support integrated campaigns across social media, website, email, and events.

Post-Production & Content Delivery

  • Organize and maintain production footage and project files.
  • Assist with video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and other editing software.
  • Prepare video assets for distribution across social media, YouTube, websites, presentations, and additional marketing channels.
  • Maintain organized project archives and production documentation.

  • Identify opportunities to improve production workflows and creative execution.
  • Continuously develop your production, editing, and storytelling skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years of experience in video production, digital media, or content creation through professional work, internships, freelance projects, or personal portfolio.
  • Experience operating DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced creative environment.
